- Choose carbon fiber only if you need extreme stiffness-to-weight and you have both budget and lead time. Otherwise, a polyester or nylon solution will get you there.
According to FTC guidelines (ftc.gov/green-guides), if you market any of this as 'recyclable' or 'eco-friendly,' make sure the claim is substantiated. That's not a legal warning, it's a buying tip - suppliers who can't prove material claims usually have looseness elsewhere in their process.
So, what's the difference between nylon and polyester? In one line: polyester resists moisture and UV better; nylon is tougher and stretches more. For most B2B orders, polyester wins on predictability. But 'best' doesn't exist without a use case.
